Israel hit by rockets fired from Lebanon

TIRE, Lebanon: Three rockets let go from south Lebanon hit northern Israel, activating retaliatory gunnery discharge on the Lebanese outskirt town of Zebqin, a security source told The Daily Star Saturday.

Sirens reverberated over the Israeli area of Nahariya after three rockets were let go from the valley of Qulayleh in south Lebanon. The episode came one day after rockets were terminated on Israel from the southern area of Hasbaya.
